We are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join an established services business in Sheffield.
This is a permanent full time Monday to Friday role.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the key duties are as follows:
- Assisting with the month end accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Forecasting cash receipts
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the weekly payroll
- Provide support with the Audit
- Provide holiday cover for sales and purchase ledger
Candidates should possess accounts experience, have potentially studied for the AAT or a similar qualification. Study support could be offered.
The salary is £24,000 to £28,000 plus company benefits.

Working in the accounts team, the role will be to work approximately 22 hours a week; Monday to Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm. There is some flexibility regarding the start and finish times.
Key duties will be to:

My client an established and growing company seeks to recruit a Sales Administrator.
The purpose of the role is to generate leads, increase the number of customers, answer customer queries and prepare sales documentation including orders and quotes.
Training will be provided and you will be working in the office as part of the sales team.
Ideal candidates will possess experience of assisting customers and dealing with their queries; a positive attitude and telephone manner. Experience of sales / being involved in the sales process would be a benefit.

Quality Assurance Engineer

My client an established manufacturing company based in the Sheffield / North Derbyshire area seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Easily accessible from Sheffield and surrounding locations such as Chesterfield, Rotherham and Worksop, this is a permanent full time Monday to Friday role.
Any necessary training will be provided; however, ideal candidates should possess good communication skills and have experience of holding and being involved in meetings. A thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 and a general awareness of processing routes, raw materials and finished products is required.
Key duties of the role are as follows:
Manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the current ISO 9001 standard.
Manage the internal audit schedule.
Conduct internal audits, delegating where a conflict of interest exists.
Maintain the lead contact role with the external auditor (TUV).
Progress NC’s and OFI’s from internal and external audits, assisting other managers where required.
Assist and advise other company locations with audits and NC’s as required.
Review SOP’s and related documents for compliance to the ISO standard.
Assess employees’ knowledge and understanding of the QMS, with input to individual’s training records.
Monitor and report on all customer complaints.
Develop an effective management system for handling customer complaints, including appropriate performance measures.
Progress complaints as necessary with all those involved.
Report to management on QMS, audits and complaints.
Manage the company's internal concessions system.
Progress supplier complaints and develop a supplier assessment system.
Actively participate in an improved customer satisfaction assessment system.
Provide training on Quality Assurance subjects.
The salary is £28,000 to £33,000 (dependent on experience) plus company benefits.
